Day 1: Pick up and Drive to Kitgum

Guests will set off at 7:00am from Jinja to drive for about 9 or 10 hours to Kitgum. Enjoy the roadside activity along the Kampala – Gulu highway. Arrive in Kitgum town and settle in at a hotel. You will have dinner and rest for the night.

Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner.

Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo National Park for an evening Game drive

TAwake in time for breakfast and proceed to Kidepo Valley National Park. Getting there could take 2.5 or 3 hours because of the state of the roads. For the few people who get up here, this is the most beautiful park in Uganda.
Arrive in the late afternoon hours and settle in at your lodge.

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 3: Morning Game and Cultural Tour

Wake up early and head out for a game drive. Drive through the remote beautiful tracks in Kidepo as you search for more animals including Lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes and antelopes.
After lunch, enjoy a warm visit to one of the Karamojong communities staying in this part of the country. See and hear how they survive especially during these uncertain times.
Thereafter head to the lodge to settle in for dinner and unwind for the next day’s events.

Day 4: Transfer back to Kampala

Awaken very early for breakfast, thereafter you will be transferred back to Kampala. This will mark the end of your safari.
